Meet Beth & Sarah
Beth Harrison, Founder/ CEO
Hi friends! My name is Bethany Harrison and I am co-owner of Stage Local. I currently reside in Watertown along with my husband, Jonathan, and our three boys. I am a classically trained soprano, having studied voice for over 18 years and a former theatre kid. I am the former Executive Assistant to the County Mayor in Wilson County where I was fortunate enough to get first-hand experience observing and assessing the needs of our community. I believe the arts are a fundamental component to a thriving community and believe Stage Local has the potential to offer residents quality, enriching arts programming.
As a lifelong resident of Wilson County, with a lifelong passion for the stage, my heart is to offer a collaborative space for artists of all ages, ability levels and backgrounds to walk in their gifts.
Sarah Collins, Co-Founder
Hey, friends! I'm Sarah Collins, proud co-founder of Stage Local! I am Lebanon, TN born and raised, and happily reside here with our sweet family, a dog I love, and one fish. My first passion is my shop on the downtown Lebanon square, Poppie's Boutique, with another location in downtown Cookeville, Tennessee. I also run a ministry with my best friend, Good Grace Club, where we co-host a bi-weekly podcast.
I have my English degree from Tennessee Tech University, and even though I do not have formal theatrical training, I am truly convinced that theatre and the arts are a God-given gift that can bring so much joy to our hearts, neighbors, and friends. Being heavily involved in music my entire life, and on the stage in high school and college, I believe the music is a gift that can follow one through their entire life, and we are so thrilled to bring that gift to Lebanon- ages young and old.
