Audition Info for Fall 2025

We have licensed our 2025 Fall Production….however, we are holding on to announcing it until opening night of “The Sound of Music”! In the meantime, you can rest easy knowing the following details:

  1. Adult and child roles are available. All roles are unpaid/non-equity.

  2. The rehearsal schedule along with audition sign ups will be posted before May 1, 2025. Video auditions will be accepted. Callbacks are in person. If you cannot attend in person callbacks, you will not be considered for a role.

  3. You MUST be able to attend 80% of rehearsals. NO CONFLICTS DURING TECH WEEK OR SHOW WEEKENDS. Specific conflicts should be outlined on your audition form. If you are unable to commit to the rehearsal schedule for this production, please do not audition. We do not call every individual to every rehearsal and do send out very detailed schedules once casting is complete, however, you are expected to be available on the dates we post at the time of auditions. We understand that summer break consists of vacations, etc. If you outline those on your audition form, we will try and work with you providing you are available for the remainder of rehearsals scheduled. Failure to communicate conflicts will result in removal from the production.

  4. This production is tuition free for all cast members. Please note there may be a costuming fee of no more than $25 per cast member. In addition, adults (18+) are required to complete a background check. Currently, this costs our cast members around $10 each. That cost has potential to increase depending on our service.

  5. Audition requirements:

    1. Actors will be required to prepare a 32 bar cut from a song from show. Exact cuts, sheet music and tracks will be posted May 10th.

    2. Actors will be required to participate in a dance call. Choreography will be posted May 10th.

    3. Callbacks will consist of sides from the script, choreography and the same musical selections from auditions. More extensive dance roles may be required to learn and perform additional choreography at callbacks. All callback material will be posted along with audition cuts on May 10.

What you can be doing now:

While waiting on those audition cuts and choreography to drop, you can prepare! Work on your acting, take voice lessons to brush up on your vocals, or even make a commitment to stretch every day! Every day is an audition. Every day is an opportunity to grow as an artist. We are rooting for you!
